Study Q210008. Home Page Menu
Question -
One common dilemma when designing home pages is how much information about sub-menus to include.

Some sites simply list the items of the main menu and trust that the contents of the site will be obvious. Others include both the main menu and sub-menus on the home page which helps you to make a more accurate selection but can also make the page look cluttered. Others still use some form of mouse-over which allows you to see the sub-menus by rolling your mouse over the items in the main menu.

While each of these methods has their advantages and disadvantages, in general terms, which of the methods do you prefer?

Responses -

4040500A combination of main menu and submenu. Just like an essay, you need to have the main part(introduction), body(submenu) and lastly conclusion(sum up of the home page-why is it worth visiting etc).Adrian Chew MalaysiaM38
