Study Q200027. Free vs Paid
Question -
Imagine... No advertising, no pop ups, nobody trying to sell you something every time you get on-line. Great! But there's a trade-off. You will have to pay a small fee, to keep the 'internet' alive. We all know that advertising revenue is what keeps most web sites alive, and probably the Internet as a whole.

So, given the choice...

1 Paid Internet. Yes, I wouldn't mind paying about $10 per month, provided I never see another unwanted advertisment or pop up or junk-email, ever again! 36.8
2 Free Internet. No, I prefer that the Internet remained a free resource, and I don't mind advertising. 62.9

4021339It's a good question! I prefer to see advertising on the site than having to pay a fixed amount! there are many sites that I visit and in some I even buy! I already paid for my internet. My access is not free! since my access at home to the street are paid, so I don't see the logic of paying a fixed amount more to access a website without advertising !!!MarlonBrazilM40

4021115I don't mind actual advertising. That is not what we get now, though. We get spyware that tracks our every move and lets evil third parties like Google and Facebook make money off of us even if we are not there.JeffUnited StatesM62
